Curiosity, without a manual.
The early part of my story is about exploring. Computers gave that curiosity somewhere to go and a reason to keep asking questions.

The repair was only part of the job. Listening to the person on the other side of the screen mattered just as much. That care still shapes how I build software.
2010 to 2015
Turning curiosity into a craft.
At Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, I studied Information & Communication Technology and began building a foundation in software.
A first-class BSc, a 3.72/4.00 GPA, and a chance to contribute to academic life and the technology community.

From 2010 to 2015, I studied Information & Communication Technology at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. I graduated with a first-class BSc and a 3.72/4.00 GPA, while contributing to academic life and the technology community.
Biology, and a fascination with IT.
At Bandaranayake College, Gampaha, I studied in the Biology stream. As leader of the IT Quiz team, I represented the school in the finals of IT Quiz 2006, conducted by the University of Colombo School of Computing.

Developer, designer, and founder. From client websites to more than 15 Windows Phone and Windows Store applications, I learned what it takes to carry an idea all the way to delivery.

I founded K2V Software Solutions in 2012. Working as founder, developer, and designer meant carrying ideas from the first conversation through design and development to delivery.
Building for people.
K2V Software Solutions work spanned client websites, web applications, and mobile experiences, including more than 15 applications for Windows Phone and Windows Store. Each project was another lesson in making something useful and thoughtful.
INDUSTRY JOURNEY · FROM 2015
From single fixes to connected systems.
At 99x, my work grew into distributed applications, cloud infrastructure, and the engineering practices that help teams deliver.
My work has included leading a six-person platform sub-team for Adra, building identity and access management services, and improving delivery through Azure and Azure DevOps.
A foundation for other teams.
At 99x, my work included leading a six-person platform sub-team for the Adra Financial Close software suite. The work covered identity and access management, supporting APIs, and distributed applications with ASP.NET Core, C#, and Azure.
Helping teams deliver with confidence.
Azure and Azure DevOps became a focus of my engineering work: continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and overall product quality. I also earned the AZ-400 Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions certification in 2018.
Good engineering is a team effort.
Working within a 35-person team and engaging directly with Scandinavian and US customers made collaboration part of the craft: discussing trade-offs, making decisions, and building a shared understanding.

The same curiosity continues through software, open source, technical writing, and creative work.
I contribute Azure Pipelines extensions, share what I learn through K2V Academy and YouTube, and explore architectural and interior visualisation when I find the time.

My open-source work includes Azure Pipelines extensions such as OWASP ZAP Scan and Slack Notification. They connect security scanning and team communication with everyday software delivery.

Away from software, I explore architectural and interior visualisation when I find the time. The tools change, but the curiosity and care in the details stay with me.
